Today we have released the go-remote promotion to assist everyone working remotely to be able to adopt good password management for free for the remainder of 2020.

The campaign is supported by deep links into the web application which are now supported fully for the first time. To see more details you can visit the website here.
We are going to encourage our partner companies to share this with their audiences and hopefully this will encourage some engagement.

Introduced to us by Sam, we have agreed with this major YouTube celebrity to run a promotion with him based on a video to be broadcast to his follows in May.
On You Tube, he has 5.36M subscribers
On Instagram, he has 2.1M subscribers
On Twitter, he has 1.4M subscribers
In addition to the video Joe has agreed to post the video on social media, instagram, twitter and as an instagram story.
We agree to pay £22,000 for this activity and this includes any amount that Joe needs to pay Nico to take part. This is a massive risk, but we believe that it will be one that pays dividends giving us massive exposure across the social media world. His videos are seen by over 1-2 million people within 72 hours generally.
Today we have launched a promotion with GoHenry. This connects us with a potential of about 200k users.
It will be interesting to see how many people take up the offer. Click on the link or the image below to see a small video of what the promotion looks like within the GoHenry app.

I am really pleased to confirm that today it has become official. Sam (The Chelsea Knee Clinic) and James Maclaurin have now become investors in forghetti.
Sam has already started to spread the word, introducing forghetti to YouTubers, Investment houses and of course James. Sam is one of the countries leading knee surgeons based at the Schoen Clinic in London. If you want to be treated alongside other A listers, look no further.
James comes with 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
His bio is as follows:
In his capacity as board member of Axiata Dialog Sri Lanka, we are currently working on a trial within that market, where forghetti would be offered directly to clients as part of a bundled offering provided by the Network operator. We are planning that this will then be used as a test bed for future comparable agreements with other network operators in Asia and Europe.
Welcome to them both.
We have partnered with Cloud Distribution to hope to educate and inform people across the Uk in the best practices with password management.
We have produced a poster and some other materials to assist with this and have sent the marketing machine of Cloud into busy mode.

As per our conversations, we have now agreed the outline of an Equity Incentive Scheme which is to be used to encourage the input and effort required to get the larger scale deals that will make forghetti a success.
The Scheme Overview can be read here.

Lookout protects mobility for some of the world's largest enterprises, critical government agencies, and tens of millions of individuals worldwide.
Founded in 2004, they discovered a security vulnerability involving Bluetooth signals and Nokia mobile phones.
They created the Blue Sniper, a gun-shaped microphone that could pull in Bluetooth signals from 1.2 miles away.
They then pointed their gun at the 2005 Academy Awards!

The team continue to post some lovely artwork linked to world events. As we build up a bigger audience on social media, this will become quite an impressive gallery.

Charlie has been making great progress with a number of companies and so far all of those are positive and productive.
We are firming up a number of these “big opportunities” to hopefully secure a plan to engage formally with them over the coming weeks.
We are looking at not only the channel partners (such as the NHS, Vodafone etc), but also other OEM manufacturers who have similar channels and route to market as forghetti. Watch this space!

This customer acquisition is purely from advertising which we have now been engaging with for most of September. The cost of acquisition is ranging around the £3 per user mark.
We have been looking to optimise the different stages of the onboarding process to encourage people to complete the whole process and to add their first logins. This is an evolving process, but the take up seems to be positive at the moment.
The plan is to ramp up advertising over the coming 3 months to aim to hit 10,000 users by the New Year.
We have now implemented a new login screen to support the entry of phone numbers when creating a new account. This re-enforces the fact that we do not use their numbers for anything other than creating and authenticating their account and for support purposes.

We were very pleased to be invited by Cloud Distribution to their reseller Accelerate 2019 event in London this week. Over 40 resellers were present. Charlie M stood on the stage and presented a very amusing and appropriate introduction to forghetti.
There was then a panel session at which forghetti stole the show ahead of 3 other major vendors. The others had no questions at all!

We are working towards signing a distribution agreement with Cloud so that they can assist us via their channel in getting into Education, Central Government sections in the coming months.

We are now offering $10 voucher to anyone who reviews forghetti on Capterra.
This will be promoted across social media and within the app. Click here or on the image to leave a review.

A great introduction to forghetti by Jason Kneen who is our iOS developer.

We have as of August been playing in the advertising space in a small way. Testing different activity across different channels.
It turns out the most effective channel for advertising at the moment is Google.
The cost of advertising varies depending on where it is, but one simple example was this:
New Users: 163
Cost : £553
Cost/user : £3.39
Duration : 28.08 - 09.09 (12 days)
This is clearly a lot less than the original cost of acquisition that we had forecast. Note that this is the cost of obtaining a free user, so it will be a percentage of these users who upgrade. We will see what that is as time goes on.
One thing to note is that whilst the new users were 163, the actual number of downloads was a lot higher (nearer 500). This proves that the screen where people are asked to enter their phone number is a barrier to entry. We are working on improving this accordingly.
