forghetti achieved ISO 42001 certification this year.
ISO/IEC 42001 is an international standard that specifies requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS) within organizations. It is designed for entities providing or utilizing AI-based products or services, ensuring responsible development and use of AI systems.
ISO/IEC 42001 is the world’s first AI management system standard, providing valuable guidance for this rapidly changing field of technology. It addresses the unique challenges AI poses, such as ethical considerations, transparency, and continuous learning. For organizations, it sets out a structured way to manage risks and opportunities associated with AI, balancing innovation with governance.

Great news! Further to our recent discussions, I am pleased to confirm that Forgehetti Ltd is suitable for receiving Innovate UK Business Growth support.
The support delivered through Innovate UK Business Growth is designed to help innovation-focused businesses of no more than 250 employees accelerate their growth by providing intensive and bespoke support.

With reference to your US patent application (O/ref: FORGHET001US; Application No. US 17/413,530), we are pleased to inform you that the US office has issued a Notice of Allowance, thus expressing their intention to allow your patent application to proceed to grant - congratulations!
We have made a number of submissions to the Examiner and amendments to ensure patent compliance. In this case, the US Examiner seems to have been persuaded by our written and oral explanations and issued a Notice of Allowance without further objections.
The next step to complete the patent grant process will be finalising further formalities procedures in relation to proofreading the application, including bibliographic details, claim set, and drawings.
The deadline for completion is 14 January 2026.
The team in the Ukraine has been working flat out since the summer on the CIRA project and we now have 10 people working there and 6 here in the UK.
This team is set up to provide support to CIRA and we have successfully signed a support agreement through until 31 March 2026.

ISO/IEC 27001 is the world's best-known standard for information security management systems (ISMS). It defines requirements an ISMS must meet.
The ISO/IEC 27001 standard provides companies of any size and from all sectors of activity with guidance for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system.
Conformity with ISO/IEC 27001 means that an organization or business has put in place a system to manage risks related to the security of data owned or handled by the company, and that this system respects all the best practices and principles enshrined in this International Standard.
With cyber-crime on the rise and new threats constantly emerging, it can seem difficult or even impossible to manage cyber-risks. ISO/IEC 27001 helps organizations become risk-aware and proactively identify and address weaknesses.
ISO/IEC 27001 promotes a holistic approach to information security: vetting people, policies and technology. An information security management system implemented according to this standard is a tool for risk management, cyber-resilience and operational excellence.
Cyber Essentials Plus is an expansion upon the “Cyber Essentials Verified Self-Assessment” which includes an audit of the organisations IT systems. Organisations MUST have Cyber Essentials Verified Self-Assessed certification dated within 3 months prior to applying for Cyber Essentials Plus.
Cyber Essentials Plus involves an audit of our systems by a trained assessors. The aim of the assessment is to confirm that all controls that have been declared in Cyber Essentials are implemented on the organisations network. By undertaking and completing Cyber Essentials Plus, we declare publicly, that our organisation has been proven to meet baseline security standards set out by Cyber Essentials.
forghetti signed a development contract with CIRA to develop replacement applications for both their Canadian Shield and DNS Firewall platforms. They are replacing both back and front end systems and the forghetti team has contracted with Nerdzlab of the Ukraine to deliver this project. It is a 6 month project which encompasses iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Chrome OS platforms as well as the support of MDM delivery mechanisms.
The platforms are the first step in CIRA taking control of their product range. The plan thereafter is to incorporate other cyber security platforms (e.g. forghetti) and to market them to their customer base across Canada.
The validating procedure in the UK has been finalised for the European (and Unitary) Patent (Publication No. EP3877878; Application No. EP19842881.5).

We have all been using forghetti for several years now and it seems so simple (to me at least) to use... life without it would not be the same.
However as we all know, we continue to meet people... friends, business contacts who have not engaged... we clearly need to do more, but sometimes it can be the little things that make that difference...
Our onboarding is decent, our eduction ongoing needs input... When we get further investment, I would like to double down on our product market fit, so that we become the simple solution for all, once and for all.

Despite the silence, James, Charlie and I continue to explore avenues of growth so that we can indeed do something great. We have had some interest over the past few months from various sides of the world, but fundamentally we are still held back by partner delay and the reality that forghetti is not a focus for them. We have therefore been exploring the opportunities for raising investment. We have of course been here before, but we have never actually pressed the button on making it happen. I hope to be able to provide a concrete update towards the end of September 2024.
With the new website comes a new and more secure investor portal. Up to date with all the latest goings on at forghetti, we hope that you find this to be a useful resource.
John now has complete control of the area of the business with whom we would wish to partner. Whilst this does not mean things happen faster, it does mean that there is still light at the end of the tunnel.
In line with partnership discussions, I am pleased to confirm that the penetration testing of the platform has been completed and that we have a clean bill of health.
