Conversations continue with CIRA. This is a slow journey, which seems to be the theme generally as this is not the key focus of any of the people who we are speaking with. John has said to get back in touch towards the middle of March.

Despite managing to keep the conversation going and presenting to other people in the team who did not have the same technical reservations, they have for the time being decided not to pursue this with us. They feel that they would be taking too much of a risk working with us rather than partnering with another provider who already has credibility in the market place.

The new version of forghetti is now available across all platforms.
This new version of forghetti includes a whole load of new functionality, as well as performance improvements, and system optimisation.
The new functionality includes:
We hope you love it.

In line with the launch of the new version of forghetti, to be named forghetti Carbonara, we have designed and built a new forghetti website.
This website is built on Webflow CMS which is a more powerful and performant web platform. The website has had a change of focus, now being very much more aimed at being a more “grown up” professional approach.
We have introduced animation onto the page to demonstrate some of the key functionality of the platform as well as to make the whole system and marketing come alive.
We have a new “Partner with us” page promoting the new QR code authentication solution which we aim to promote initially in Hong Kong with CSL, but also across other locations and with other partners.

Charlie and I have been speaking with Jon Ferguson (General Manager- Cyber & DNS, CIRA) about a partnership in Canada. We are putting together a commercial proposal to him which entails a joint venture with the Canadian Cyber Security body.
They have 8 million subscribers and have in the past given technology to the Canadian population in the aim of making Canada a more secure place.
A large proportion of their customer base are students for whom forghetti is well targeted.

Thank you to all the investors who approved the planned investment from James Maclaurin. As at the end of this financial year 30th June 2023, this investment has not actually been actionned.

Conversations with the consumer side of Malwarebytes have moved forward quite a lot, but then hit a stumbling block in the form of their cyber security rep. His concern was the security around a doodle and also data being stored off the local device.
This is an uphill struggle, but I believe that there may still be light at the end of the tunnel when the new version of forghetti is launched with biometric password generation.

Since the new year we have had a number of interesting conversations with companies about potential partnership. Nothing is off the table, but equally nothing has progressed beyond initial conversations.
The main contenders are:

As part of the new application development, we have been brainstorming… we feel that we need to drive something more for our partners than purely the password management app. It needs to be of benefit to both the individual user and also the partner themselves.
So we have designed a new QR code authentication technology that will enable anyone with a platform that has gated username/email and password authentication, to supplement this with the forghetti script.
In this way, the user only has to scan the QR code, draw their doodle (or enter biometric auth) and the username / email and password will automatically be injected into the login page.
This has massive benefits both in ease of use for the customer, but also in enhanced password management for the platform owner.

Since November we have been working hard on the new forghetti functionality that we aim to release as soon as possible.
