Developer Updates

The agenda for the meeting held on the 15th July 2019 on a Google Hangout was:

The future is bright and the future requires ongoing development. We are however focusing the vaste majority of that now on the back end, the security of the platform and the administration of users via the desktop application.
Here is a quick list of the features that we have on the longer term list:

Whilst Charlie and I have now met and spoken with a lot of people (we recently attended Infosec where the great and good of Cyber security were present) we have been refining the pitch and evolving it into something that the people we are meeting are engaging with.
It is clear that forghetti sits on the boundary between human behaviour and technical security and complexity and the aim is to bring those two together and to make it simple for the masses.
We are coining the phrase that security starts and home and pushes up into small businesses and teams where good behaviour and best practice at home then flow across to the work place.
We are presenting forghetti with big ambitions, trying to tackle passwords in a manner that would be consistent with being the WhatsApp of password management.
There is also a massive education play as we seek to educate and enable the 80% of the world for whom password management is still a stress and frustration.

I have given Charlie a more day to day title from the original Investor Director which he still remains.
I am very pleased to confirm that Charlie and his red socks are getting involved more officially with the sales development of forghetti. We need to finalise WIIFM (what’s in it for me), but I have spoken with Charlie about the principal of commission on sales exchangeable for share options at some point during a future financing round. This I am going to discuss with the accountant before presenting you all with the proposed solution.
You have all met Charlie many times now and he is joining to drive the development of our global partnership channels. With nearly 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, most recently at Zscaler, Charlie brings oodles of contacts, experience and most of all passion to the team. I personally look forward to working with him over the coming months and years ahead as forghetti strives to help everyone make password stress a thing of the past.
To date we have had very positive meetings with senior and relevant contacts at:
and the meetings are going from strength to strength.

In addition to the current release in the next 2 weeks we will be launching password injection on iOS and then thereafter on Android. This will again speed up the process from clicking on a password field on your phone to entering the password (autofill), simply by drawing your doodle. 3 steps:
The details are pre-populated and you can enter the website.

In the back end:

Development has continued without halt since for what seems an age as we constantly seek to improve on the app UX, additional features and improved systems on the back end.
As of last week we published the app to the Google Play Store and Apple App Stores, only to be rejected once again by Apple for the same artwork we used last time around. We are working our way through the Apple processes once again and hope to have the iOS version live very soon.
The Android version is live.
The new versions include some great new features most importantly the fast on boarding process that take the user from sign up to generating their first login in 3 steps:
All the details for the chosen login are pre-filed and there is nothing more to do.
In addition the user features include across all platforms (iOS, Android, PC, MAC and browser)

Investor approval has been received unanimously for the second round of funding for forghetti.
An amount of £250,000 has been raised through three of the original investors. Thank you to you all.
Much work has been done to improve the onboarding of the app and we are pleased to release some screenshots of what the app will look like in the coming weeks.

One of the components of making the new version of the app digestible has been to develop a short intro video so that people can be told the main key features and benefits of the app.
It is just over of a minute long and can be watched here.

Minutes from meeting 25th March 2019

The purpose of this meeting was to update all investors on the progress of the app launch, the feedback that we have received to date as well as to discuss next steps and funding requirements.
A copy of the meeting presentation can be seen here.
The outcome of the meeting was that all investors were presented with the opportunity to invest further in forghetti. The aim is to raise up to £250k. Investor approval will be requested if and when funding has been achieved.
It was agreed that should funding be achieved that no promotion of the app would happen until feedback from the initial users had been taken on board and improvements to the app had been made.
The main concerns raised by the soft-launch users have been:
This video has been produced to give people a feeling for the company and what we are all about.

We have officially agree with the Mental Health Research Charity to support them for 2019. We have agreed to donate 1% of all our subscription revenue to MQ during 2019.

Due to issues in getting the app to market when we needed to at the beginning of February, we decided to launch the app as a free to market app which could be paid for via in-app purchases after an initial 6 month “early adopter” program.
The app was released on the 13th February having drawn upon all resources to enable the app to get past the Apple approval process. Tough time… but we are now out there and heading towards 500 users.

We have signed up to work with Caroline MacDonald and her team at OggaDoon to work on PR of the app.
They are going to be helping us to get out into media, events and other public facing channels, working alongside the in-house team to start to get the forghetti name out.
The pre match report was given at an investor meeting in Stockbridge.
A copy of the presentation given can be seen here:
The main take away from this is that the app is ready to be put into the big wide world and subject to Apple approval we are Ok to launch.
The second takeaway is that the funding is now critical with £50k remaining in the account, a new approach to funding needs to be considered. Mike is going to work with Charlie Milton and Tim Lander to establish a good plan of action.

The release of version 22 of the mobile application has made me very comfortable with the plan to offer it out to invited individuals and our close network.
We are working on some final bits and pieces this week and I hope that the release this coming week will enable us to share this with you all.
In order to do that I have compiled some Beta T&Cs which will enable me to relax in the knowledge that everyone using the beta version will be aware that this is trial software and whilst close to production ready, it is open to having some bugs. We are ironing these out all the time and improving everything.
I will be asking everyone to feedback to us via a dedicated email address so that we can collate the feedback in a co-ordinated fashion.
For info, this is the email address… so please add this to your contact list:
mikecrompton+ybxrk4heggygjjyihvrn@boards.trello.com
Please can you note on your feedback which version you are using and on what device so that we can monitor and fix correctly.
I suggest for speed that you create a little template in your email that you can copy each time for consistency. Use the

Following the meeting NED meeting with Charlie and Tim, one of the actions from that was for Tim and I to spend some time working through the business model and the financial plan - to evaluate the strength of our assumptions and to put in place some different scenario plans for us all to evaluate when we next meet in January.
I have now had a couple of meetings with Tim and we are making good progress. I think even the often pessimistic Tim can see that if we get the word out there, this could be a very lovely business.
We are working of different scenarios for staffing, customer acquisition and funding.
I am very grateful for the support that Tim is providing as well as all of you along the way… let this not be forghotten (note the intentional spelling mistake!).
